Frequently asked questions
With an individual assessment. That session is where we understand your condition and set the plan — whether it’s physiotherapy, osteopathy or Pilates. If what you’re after is the group classes, you can start with a trial class and decide once you’ve tried it.
For 1:1 services — Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Massage — yes, every session is individual and adapted to your condition. We also run group classes in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Hypopressives, Barre and Postnatal, always in very small groups: maximum 7 people, and only 3 on the Reformer.
You can, and we recommend it. Take a trial class — €15 for most modalities, €25 for the Reformer — with the real group. If you decide to sign up, we deduct it from your first month and you join straight away. The Postnatal class is the exception: it always starts with a one-to-one assessment of the pelvic floor and diastasis.
Yes, most services have an online option, with the same clinical rigour and a schedule of your choice.
We don’t have a direct agreement with any insurer or subsystem — you pay for the session at the clinic and then claim reimbursement from your provider. With ADSE, reimbursement is around 50%. With other insurers, the amount depends on the annual allowance already used, so we recommend calling before your first session to ask about your allowance and the percentage covered for out-of-network physiotherapy/osteopathy. We issue the invoice in the correct format for reimbursement. Most insurers also require a medical prescription — if you don’t have a doctor available, we can point you to a teleconsultation partner who issues one quickly.
Both offer the same services and hours (Monday to Friday, 8am–8:30pm). The one difference worth knowing is that the Pilates machines — Cadillac, Reformer, Combo Chair and Ladder Barrel — are at Berna, and that is where the group Reformer classes take place. Otherwise, the choice simply depends on which area of Lisbon is more convenient for you.
