Pilates and Clinical Pilates — moveOn Fisio
Always clinically supervised · Maximum 3 people per Reformer class · Groups small enough for the class to be adapted to you

Pilates · Clinical Pilates

Get moving again, without fear of getting worse.

Pilates with clinical supervision, in very small groups or one-to-one sessions — train safely even with pain, injuries or postpartum, and progress at a pace that’s entirely your own.

Group classes

One-to-one session

Maximum 3 people on the Reformer · Maximum 7 on the Mat · Almost a private session

The groups are small enough to correct every exercise and adapt it if you have pain, an injury or a spinal condition. It’s the attention of a one-to-one session — at the price of a group class.

Before you come

Never been here before? These two short videos walk you from the street to the studio door, so you are not searching for it on your first day. (Spoken in Portuguese, but the route speaks for itself.)

Who it’s for

Two ways to practise. Always with clinical supervision.

Not sure where to start? Most people fit into one of these two situations.

What Clinical Pilates is

Not just exercise — it’s treatment and prevention.

Clinical supervision in every session — one-to-one and group alike It differs from conventional Pilates through its therapeutic approach: exercises are adapted to specific health conditions — injuries, post-surgery, spinal conditions, and more. This is not a gym class: whoever leads it has clinical training.
Small groups — that’s what makes the adaptation possible In a class of twelve, nobody can adapt exercises to a disc herniation or a repaired shoulder. In a class of three, you can. That’s why you can train here even with pain: the spring load is set to your body, and every repetition is corrected as it happens.

None of these times work for you? With a minimum of 2 people, we create a class tailored to you, at the time you prefer — outside the existing timetable. Talk to us and we’ll see what’s possible.

Try it before you decide

Take the first step, no long-term commitment.

Not sure whether group classes are right for you? You don’t have to decide today. Come and take a trial class, and decide once you’ve actually tried it — with clinical supervision in the room and the group around you.

1 Book a trial class

€15 on the Mat (Estádio) or €25 on the Reformer (Berna). Book online, pick your time, and come.

2 Take the whole class

It’s a real class, with the real group. You’ll know exactly what it’s like — it isn’t a demonstration.

3 If you stay, we deduct it

Sign up for a monthly plan at the end of the class and what you paid is deducted from your first month. You join the group straight away.

Join at any point in the month. No need to wait for the 1st — you pay pro-rata for the weeks remaining until the end of the month, and the normal rate from then on.

Cancelling a trial class. Once purchased, trial group classes are not refunded, but they can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the class start time. With less than 48 hours to go, they cannot be transferred to another class.

Before your first class

Not sure whether you’re ready to join a group class?

We’ll tell you. That’s what being physiotherapists is for.

If you have an injury, recent surgery, a spinal condition, or you’re pregnant or postpartum, the safest route is to start with a one-to-one assessment session. In that session we screen for conditions, assess your posture and teach you the technique — and at the end we tell you clearly whether a group class is right for you, and which one.

If you’d rather join a group class directly, without that assessment, we simply ask you to complete and sign a health declaration and informed consent form before your first class.

Pregnant or postpartum? Clinical Pilates is one of the safest ways to stay active during pregnancy — it strengthens the pelvic floor, helps prepare for birth and supports recovery afterwards. Besides the Pack of 10 Online Classes above, we also have mãe360º, a physiotherapy programme dedicated to women — it can be the starting point before or alongside Pilates.

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions?

You can, and we recommend it. Book a trial class — €15 on the Mat or €25 on the Reformer — and take the full class with the real group. If you decide at the end to sign up for a monthly plan, we deduct what you paid from your first month and you join the group straight away.

No. You can join at any point in the month. You pay pro-rata for the weeks remaining until the end of the month, and the normal rate from then on.

If you pay for three months upfront you get 20% off the monthly rate, on either plan: 1x/week goes from €99 to €79.20 a month (€237.60 in total, €18.29 a class) and 2x/week goes from €185 to €148 a month (€444 in total, €17.09 a class). It’s the lowest rate at which you can do Reformer with us.

Book a one-to-one assessment session: we screen for conditions, assess your posture and teach the technique, then tell you clearly whether a group class suits you. If you’d rather join directly, we ask you to complete a health declaration and informed consent form before your first class.

A trial class is not refunded, but it can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the class start time. With less than 48 hours to go, it cannot be transferred to another class. For monthly plans, talk to us with as much notice as possible — the team will help rearrange whenever availability allows.

A maximum of 3 on the Reformer, and a maximum of 7 on the Mat. We don’t make exceptions: that limit is what allows every exercise to be corrected and the class adapted to anyone with pain, an injury or a condition — which is the difference between doing the exercises and doing them well.

  • Strengthens the core and improves posture
  • Eases joint pain and muscle tension
  • Improves balance, flexibility and coordination
  • Helps prevent injuries and hernias, and supports post-surgical recovery
  • Reduces stress and improves focus
  • Works breathing and core activation together

Yes — it’s one of the main reasons people practise with us. Classes are always clinically supervised and exercises are adapted to specific clinical conditions, including pain and spinal conditions. If your situation is more complex, we start with a one-to-one assessment before the group.

No. Classes and exercises are adapted to your level and physical condition, from beginner to advanced — that’s why they’re always clinically supervised.

Mat is done on the floor, using your own body weight; Reformer uses a machine with springs and adjustable resistance, allowing more variety and exercise progression. Group Mat is at Estádio (max. 7 people) and group Reformer is at Berna (max. 3 people).

It isn’t a choice you have to make on your own. The physiotherapist assesses you and decides what makes most sense for your case — it might be the mat, it might be a machine, and it might alternate over the course of your plan. The machines (Cadillac, Tower Reformer, Combo Chair and Ladder Barrel) are at our Berna location.

Comfortable clothing that allows free movement, and non-slip socks or bare feet, depending on the modality. If you have specific questions, ask us before your first class.

We screen for conditions, assess your posture, teach the technique, and adapt the exercises to your case — to make sure the plan is safe and effective from the first session.

Yes. Postural issues often develop during adolescence, linked to poor posture and a sedentary lifestyle. Clinical Pilates helps correct posture and build body awareness and strength, before these habits become problems in adulthood.

Your body will thank you for the first step.

Try a group class — and if you decide to stay, we deduct it from your first month. Always in small groups, always with clinical supervision in the room.
