Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a technique that supports, optimises and facilitates lymph circulation and the removal of micro-organisms and substances the body doesn’t need.
A technique recommended to improve circulation, reduce fluid retention and promote an overall sense of wellbeing.
Lymphatic drainage can be done once a month. In cases of a specific condition, such as venous insufficiency, it should be done more regularly, with frequency defined after assessment. After the session, and if there’s no contraindication, we may also use pressotherapy.
Specific benefits for the pregnancy period.
We recommend 1 weekly session during pregnancy, or 2 sessions a week in cases of greater fluid retention. It brings a sense of wellbeing and improves quality of life during pregnancy.
